Getting started reversing hair loss - the hair loss diet

Hair loss can be caused by many factors, most common belief is that it is a hereditary condition and something that must be accepted. "My father was bald, and his father before him....." That being said, you may be more prone to hair loss but something must have triggered it?

Modern Diet

Modern western diet is has terrible effects on hair. It's highly processed and full of chemicals to extend it's shelf life. Not to mention the fact that all the processed it goes through destroys whatever goodness it did have. A high processed food diet leaves hair lacking in the vital nutrients it needs to grow and to be healthy.

When the body is lacking in nutrition, it uses al the nutrients it can get for vital processes and cuts short anything it doesn't see as a priority. Hair has no real function other than to keep our heads warm and look good, so if it came down to what get the nutrients the hair or the organs? Organs win hands down.

So what can you do to make sure your hair doesn't fall out and possibly even regrow what has? Get lots of nutrients from natural, nutrient dense foods. What do i mean by nutrient dense? Exactly as described, food that is dense in nutrients. Foods like eggs, blueberries, broccoli, peppers. The list goes on and on. Just make sure it it's natural and raw and hasn't been through any sort of processing.
